Vibro Sifter Machine
Description
A Vibro Sifter machine uses gyratory vibrations from a specialized motor to separate, grade, and scalp powders, granules, and semi-solids by particle size, ensuring uniform product quality in industries like pharma, food, and chemical processing; it works by feeding material onto vibrating screens, allowing fine particles through and ejecting oversized ones, with features like multi-deck options, easy cleaning, and reduced floor vibration.
Key Components & How They Work
Vibratory Motor: Has unbalanced weights that create three-plane vibrations (vertical, horizontal, circular) for efficient material movement.
Screen/Mesh: Material falls onto a wire mesh screen. Particles smaller than the mesh pass through; larger ones travel along the screen.
Hopper/Lid: A top lid covers the material to prevent contamination and dust during vibration.
Ball Tray (Optional): Rubber balls bounce against the mesh underside to prevent clogging (choking).
Outlets: Separate chutes for discharging the fine (screened) material and the coarse (oversized) material.
Working Principle (Simplified)
Feed: Material is poured into the top hopper.
Vibrate: The motor activates, causing the screen to vibrate intensely.
Separate: Particles travel in a circular, stirring motion; smaller ones fall through the mesh.
Discharge: Fine material exits from one outlet, while oversized particles are carried to the oversized outlet.
Key Features & Benefits
Versatile: Handles dry powders, wet granules, and semi-solids.
Hygienic: Often made of SS 316/304 with smooth surfaces for easy GMP-compliant cleaning.
Efficient: Improves powder quality, throughput, and consistency.
Low Noise: Springs suspend the screen, preventing floor vibration and reducing noise.
Customizable: Multiple decks (screens) can be added for multi-stage sifting.
