Oil Expeller Machine

An oil expeller machine mechanically squeezes oil from seeds and nuts using high pressure from a rotating screw (worm) inside a barrel, separating oil from the solid seed cake through friction and pressure, often with pre-heating for efficiency, producing nutrient-rich, chemical-free oil suitable for cooking and industrial use, available in various sizes for small to large-scale operations.

Working Principle

Preparation: Seeds (like sesame, mustard, peanut, coconut) are cleaned and sometimes pre-heated and cooked in a kettle to enhance oil release.

Feeding: Prepared seeds are fed into the machine's barrel.

Pressing: A rotating worm shaft inside the barrel continuously forces and compresses the seeds, generating intense friction and pressure.

Extraction: The pressure squeezes oil out through small openings, while the solid fiber remains as a hard cake.

Collection: The expelled oil is collected, and the oil cake is removed from the other end.
